Short essay questions:

1.    What were your goals for this class?

I really enjoyed this class because I want to go on to build websites for fun and for a living. I believe that I learned a great deal here and want to go on and take more classes in this area.

2.       How did the class assist you (or not) in reaching these goals?

The class was a wonderful experience in the use of the software tools that I have been wanting to become proficient in. I have much more feeling of confidence now that I have had experience in these areas.

3.        How could the class have better helped you reach these goals?

The class could have been more oriented towards participation and less rushing to follow what the professor was doing on the screen. I didn't feel like I could keep up most of the time and had to go back and redo several assignments (that I'm still not sure whether they will be graded again).

4.        Do you think/feel that what you learned in class will be useful to you in the future?

Yes, I feel that this class was a great stepping stone towards a better understanding of Webpage development.

            Why or Why not?

Because this is just the beginning of the proverbial envelope in what I want to learn.

5.        What resources (links, lectures, exercises, materials) did you find most helpful, useful, and/or interesting?

I felt that they were all helpful but the one that I enjoyed the most was the development of my personal page.

6.        What resources (links, lectures, exercises, materials) did you find least helpful, useful, and/or interesting?

I really had trouble following and keeping up with some of the HTML assignments and especially following the streaming video assignment.

7.        What was most problematic or inconvenient about taking the class? (e.g. technical resources, technical probs, etc.)

As I explained earlier, the most problematic area for me was trying to follow the screen while doing my own work. I can't believe that I was the only one that couldn't keep up and needed her to go back over the explained material and re-explain it so that I could do it to satisfaction.

8.        What changes in the class might make it more helpful, useful, and/or interesting?

Nothing that I can think of other than having the labs EXCLUSIVELY for the IT 222 Class, (sometimes there were a lack of seats for the students that needed to be there).

9.        What was your favorite assignment (or most helpful, useful, and/or interesting)? Why?

Again, my favorite assignment was the personal webpage as it is what I really want to do in the long run.

10.     What was your least favorite assignment (or least helpful, useful, and/or interesting)? Why

Again, my least favorite assignment had to be the streaming video one or the HTML ones as they were hard to follow at the pace of the instructor.
