Simulators

In this course, we will be using SPIMSAL Simulator for the projects. The projects will mostly involve writing SAL programs and rewriting the same (probably with some extensions) in MAL. SPIMSAL SimulatorThe SPIMSAL simulator accepts almost all of the SAL instructions that is used in the course textbook. This simulator is already installed in all the Computer Labs (460, 462, 464) in Flarsheim Hall. It is on the spim folder inside the Applications folder on your desktop when you log on using your UMKC userid. You can also download SPIMSAL (Windows Version) and SPIMSAL (Unix Version) here.
